2025 Albireo Energy Employee Review: Helped Make a Great Company? Check. Helped Make a Better World? Check.

Working at Albireo Energy is not just a job.

It’s not even just a career.

It’s the making of a great company.

Now that we’re into 2026, it’s a good time to reflect on the impact we had last year when employees and management came together in a highly engaged culture to seemingly make everything we touched a little better.

From the workplace to the environment, Albireo Energy employees made a difference.

Albireo Energy is a fun, dynamic workplace that attracts top talent. We’re proud of our eight straight years of being a certified “Great Place to Work.”

This is only possible with our employee dedication and positive attitude. These attributes are what create our award-winning culture.

Thank You for Your Service

Our employees made a difference in 2025 by sharing their time and treasure.

We raised over $15,000 to support the Gary Sinise Foundation. This money goes to help military and first-responder veterans and their families. It will help to build custom smart homes for disabled vets. It will provide financial aid. It will fund mental health programs and more. We are grateful for the service of our vets, and it shows through this donation.

Albireo Cares Together Program

Employees made their local communities better last year. Through the Albireo Cares Together program, Albireo Energy turned out to help out.

Projects were picked by employees and included helping at a food bank. Leading school supply drives. Participating in the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Tackling a beach cleanup, and more.

The Albireo Cares Together program has been a company tradition since our employees suggested it in 2018. And every year it gets better.

Impact on our Industry

“We see buildings in a different way.”  That’s our motto. And Albireo Energy employees have lived up to it.

The changes in building technology can challenge our customers. But Albireo Energy employees are helping the industry to understand and embrace these changes.

A part of this effort is thought leadership. Albireo Energy’s subject matter experts are using their bully pulpits to drive the industry ahead. By setting new standards, they enable buildings to be even more sustainable.

They also show up at industry events across the globe. Here we connect with industry leaders. And we have the opportunity to educate customers on cutting-edge solutions.

The Next Generation

This last year we also trained the industry’s next generation. The Albireo Energy internship and apprentice program was active in 2025. Our interns got hands-on training and mentorship that show them the possibilities in this industry.

Impact on our Environment

Employees also contributed to a more sustainable planet. This took place in several ways.

Our sustainability solutions made a huge impact. 73% of Albireo Energy gross revenue came from assisting customers in achieving their sustainability goals.

Because of our work, these same customers reduced energy consumption by 68,000 MWh of electricity and 1 million therms of natural gas. This translates to 39,000 metric tons of avoided CO2 greenhouse gas emissions.

We also made the most of Earth Day donating $1 per employee to EarthDay.org.

We also tackled our #1 energy expense. It’s our vehicles – they need to be greener, and we are taking action. We have kicked off a program to convert 75% of our fleet to hybrid vehicles by 2030.

However, the most efficient vehicle is the one you don’t need. To cut down on truck rolls, we grew the number of services we can provide remotely. In the most recent year we have data for, 484 work tickets were performed remotely. This saved more than 1,360 gallons of gas and avoided 12,100 kilograms of CO2 emissions.

Through their excellent customer service as well as their engagement with colleagues and community, Albireo Energy employees make it fun to go to work every day.
