What Should Your BAS Service Agreement Deliver?

Measure More Than Hours

Many agreements provide a bank of hours or a set number of technician days, which tells you how much time you’ve purchased. You may love and respect your technician and service team while still lacking a clear view of what work will be completed and how it should strengthen reliability, uptime and risk reduction.

Your BAS service should work much the same way. Visits should include defined work, time for issues on your mind, and a clear record of findings and next steps. Hours and day rates may determine how the agreement is estimated. They shouldn’t serve as evidence of value and benefits to your operations.
