Our Albireo Cares Together Community Outreach program was born from the Great Place to Work survey in 2018. Employees wanted a way to increase corporate citizenship by supporting nonprofits in their communities. Donations and volunteer activities are determined by the interests of local teams.
As we move through 2026, our teams have already participated in a wide range of community outreach efforts. Here’s a look at some of the ways Albireo Energy employees are making a difference:
Supporting the Fight Against Cancer
Our Florida team recently participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, joining communities across the country in the fight against cancer. Together, they raised money, honored survivors, and remembered loved ones—all while strengthening team bonds and community connections.
Empowering Women in Our Communities
In celebration of Women in Construction Week (WIC), our San Diego team partnered with NAWIC San Diego to support Sharia’s Closet, a local nonprofit that provides clothing and essential items to individuals and families in need. Albireo Energy volunteers contributed both time and resources—helping sort donations and directly support those facing hardship.
Serving Meals, Serving Hope
Our Edison Accounting team dedicated time to volunteering at Elijah’s Promise Soup Kitchen in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Over two days, they helped prepare and serve meals to individuals in need—demonstrating how even small acts of service can have a powerful impact.
Sustainability and Community Impact
Earlier this year, our UK team supported Cynthia Spencer Hospice through a unique recycling initiative that contributed to both environmental sustainability and charitable giving. Their efforts highlight how creative approaches can drive impact on multiple fronts.
In addition, the team hosts an annual charity golf tournament to support The Lewis Foundation and Sands, organizations dedicated to helping individuals and families facing serious challenges.
