Albireo updates critical systems such as laboratory hoods and air valves, along with generator, MRI chillers, equipment, PET scan facility and room pressure monitoring. Work includes retrofitting seven chiller plants with 1,000 to 10,000 tons of cooling, and modernizing controls at eight pharmacies to the latest FDA requirements. We are currently designing the controls system at a master integrator level for a new Moffitt 10-story hospital with 18 operating rooms and 600 beds.
Since 2014, we’ve performed work on six Moffit campuses around Tampa, FL. On every assignment, we follow ICRA protocols, the new infection control risk assessment guidelines. These rigid standards include establishing a negative pressure environment with a HEPA filter through sealing soft walls. Open ceiling voids aren’t permitted anywhere, so our team uses ICRA carts to follow the protocols.
