We are using Albireo Energy’s Utility Module to collect data on our energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).

We continue to grow our remote services, offering customers in some key markets, New York, Delaware, and Seattle.

Environmental
Highlights from our 2023 ESG Report:
- The Sustainability Solutions Portfolio represented 75% of Albireo Energy’s total gross revenue in 2023.
- Delivered ~2,000 projects, each incorporating one or more of these services.
- Achieved over $14M in energy cost-savings for customers based on 2023 regional electricity and natural gas costs.
- Reduced energy usage by 60,000 MWh of electricity and 830,000 therms of natural gas.
- Avoided an estimated 25,000 MTCO2e of GHG emissions through energy reductions for clients.

- Achieved Certifed™ by Great Place to Work® for the sixth year in a row.
- Awarded 207 employees with Shining Star recognitions for their exceptional customer contributions.
- Received 17 master and platinum awards from our suppliers in recognition of expertise in building automation and power management.
- Filled 50% of leadership roles through internal promotions, and 18% were women.
Governance
Operating with the highest level of integrity is a core value for Albireo Energy. Operating ethically and leading with integrity is essential to earning and maintaining the trust of our employees, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we work.
Highlights from our 2023 ESG Report:
- Enrolled all employees in ongoing security awareness training from KnowBe4.
- Identified zero known data breaches in 2023.
- Achieved cybersecurity compliance with NIST 800-171/CMMC Level 1.
- Matured our One Albireo Energy Business Operating System, an ever-evolving framework that ensures alignment and consistency across all functions and our field organization.
- Instituted a Supply Chain Risk Management program including screening, diligence, and monitoring of our top 15 suppliers.
